I was thinking a staggered hook design would be best though really. Both sides have an equal number of hooked and non-hooked sections. Think of it like a skip-tooth chainring.

I like it! In case you don’t know, it’s one of the names of the very first two-wheeled, steering-balanced, human-powered vehicle also known as the velocipede; the predecessor of the bicycle. You would recognize it today as a scoot-bike/balance-bike. But adult-sized.
